How much do I have to pay in case of damage to the car?

We conduct an end-of-rental inspection within 48 hours after the end of your rental to check that the car has not suffered any damage during the rental period. You will receive an email with a rental return report confirming the presence or absence of any damages.

In case of damage, you will be liable to Jool for the cost of the repair up to the insurance deductible limit, which is 1,000€.

For example:

  • If the damage amounts to 200€, you will pay 200€;

  • If the damage amounts to 1,700€, you will pay 1,000€.

Note that administrative fees ranging from 15€ to 50€ may also be applied.

The additional cost table, indicating the amount that can be deducted from the security deposit, is available on the website at the following address: www.jool.co/damage.
